COGIC Bishop gets inaugurated for “second term”

Video of the COGIC Presiding Bishop and the event “inaugurating” him for a “second term”. COGIC has more and more adopted a political persona with its leadership installment events and governance. Despite the celebration, the Presiding Bishop still has not responded to a letter from an Atlanta law firm stating an intent to sue him and Chairman of the denomination’s Board of Bishop’s for, among other things, federal level racketeering violations.

We are singing, doing our holy dances and getting inaugurated while the church is dying…similar to Nero playing the fiddle while Rome was burning…..

Elder Scott Galbraith was placed in his second church by his dad Bishop Albert Galbraith, Jr. New Jerusalem owned its church and parking structure. Eld. Galbraith borrowed $300,000 from private investors and used the parking structure as collateral. He used part of the money to purchase a sandwich shop in Burlingame, CA. He recently sold the parking structure for over $1,000,000! He used part of the money to pay off the loan from the private lenders and now he’s in the process of purchasing a home for he and his wife Carla in San Francisco. The church is incorporated. He did this without the permission of anyone in the church! His father told the members that “Scott needed the revenue!” When will people wake up? How much do you have to lose before you realize that COGIC is a sanctified mafia? They stole Pearly Gates church in Stockton from the senior citizens although the church was incorporated. The poor people who are unlearned didn’t understand the law. Bishop Blake and Bishop Galbraith took these people to court and of course the people got scared and submitted!

Umm, maybe I missed it but I saw nothing in the video that suggested some type of overly political persona. What should they have done, celebrated in a store front while they marched to the old congregational song, “Look Where He Brought Me From”??? Sheesh.

Our remarks had nothing to do with the style of dress, location or ceremonial content of this singular event, but rather the political persona of governance steadily being instituted by church hierarchy. Secondly, the remarks weren’t derived solely from the posted video, but from cumulative observations over the last several decades. Perhaps that’s what you missed.

I was just wondering if you are still publishing, I have not received an email in a long time from you?

    For the Sake of Unity,

    Rev. Elisha B. Morris

2 Corinthians 4:13 & Ps 116:10 ….”I believed, therefore have I spoken”. New Living Translation

“An activist is someone who cannot help but fight for something. That person is not usually motivated by a need for power, money or fame, but in fact is driven slightly mad by some injustice, cruelty or unfairness. So much so that he or she is compelled by some internal moral engine to act to make it better”. Eve Ensler

      Hello Rev. Morris,
thanks for your question. Yes we are still publishing. Report COGIC Abuse has always operated off the “reports” that we are given to investigate. Since there have been no reports sent to us, we dont publish just for the sake of having something to publish. Of course, our hope is that the rash of sexual abuse cases and church abuse cases have subsided due in part to the efforts of this RCA and faithful saints who refused to be silent. If not, as God allows it to come to the surface, we will be there to report it.
